iRacing - Team CFEG ready for 60 car carnage!

November 30, 2018

Tomorrow a group from Pcars will be hosting their first ever event on the simulation platform iRacing. To launch, they are hosting a 60 car GTE grid at the one and only Brands Hatch. This tiny circuit will im sure, for the first time host the same number of cars you're used to seeing at Le Mans. Absolutely Crazy.

Team CFEG will be present in their brand new Ferrari 488 GTE car, with a slight twist to our usual paint scheme. We took inspiration from the Aston martin teams in this years GT Championship in order to allow it to stand out from the rest of our line up of cars, hopefully the other teams too.

But, why? why go to Brands Hatch circuit when there is guarenteed to be carnage with 60 cars on track. Well, its for charity. The hosts have connections to several motorsport teams, who in turn support charities who help and support drivers who have disabilities. TeamBrit even create their own sim hardware adapted to help those who aren't as fortunate as everyone else.  Read more about the charity and a story of Billy's journey @ https://www.teambrit.co.uk/news/billy-monger-gets-back-in-the-driver-s-seat-with-team-brit

Alongside this cause, the competitors will get a chance to win several prices, from jackets, paddock passes for next year and even a hot lap in one of the GT4 cars on grid for next season. Pretty cool i'd say.

So there we have it, we will be taking part in this 6 hour event and as always we will be giving it everything we have to ensure we end up at the front end of the grid and stay out of the pit lane. We will be streaming our view via our youtube page and on twitch, so come join and support us.
