LMP2 - Oreca 07
The Oreca 07 is a Le Mans Prototype built by French manufacturer Oreca to meet the 2017 FIA and ACO LMP2 regulations. It made its official race debut in the opening round of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and its FIA World Endurance Championship debut at the 2017 6 Hours of Silverstone. The car is the successor to the Oreca 05.
The Oreca 07 is a considerable step forward for the LMP2 world. It yeilds a much higher downforce capability along with better braking performance than its older brother. The preceding Oreca 05 LMP2 model produced roughly 490 horsepower, with a variety of different engine choices offered to competitors. One of the more popular choices included the Nissan-derived VK45DE, a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V-8. This year, the Oreca 07 gets a rather sizable power boost up to 603 horsepower, which is a massive 113-horse increase over the preceding 05 lump.
This car will offer you a great time, so don't miss out.
LMP3 - Norma M30
The Norma M30 is an LMP3-spec sports prototype. The car is built by French constructor Norma Auto Concept after being chosen as one of five manufacturers selected by the ACO to build a chassis for the class. Besides Norma, ADESS, Ginetta, Ligier and Riley were selected. Ligier, ADESS and Ginetta launched their cars during the late 2015 and 2016 seasons. Norma launched their LMP3 prototype in February 2017. Nissan was appointed as the sole engine provider with the Nissan VK50VE engine producing 420hp.
This nimble car was a favourite at CFEG's 12 Heures Du Man's and gave us some great battles on the tarmac. Though it is not the fastest Prototype car in the world, it has a suprising punch followed by a pleasant amount of downforce in the corners. Those who decide to drive it will be in for a great driving experience.
Porsche 911 RSR GTE
The new 911 RSR makes full use of the rather loose GTE regulations and has its flat-six engine positioned in front of the rear axle. The four-litre unit features direct fuel injection as well as a rigid valve drive. With a large rear diffuser, combined with a top-mounted rear wing the level of downforce and the aerodynamic efficiency has significantly improved over the 991 GTE.
The new Porsche made its race debut in the USA, but on arrival in the WEC it attracted a lot of interest right away, however not everything has gone to plan. While the car was generally competitive in the opening races of the 2017 WEC season it also did not really challenge the Ferraris and Fords in terms of outright pace, and the story was the same in the IMSA series in the USA. While some suspected ‘sandbagging’ the reasons may be somewhat more serious.
Regardless of the issues Porsche sustained in 2017 it still remains a favourite in the Racing world. The Porsche GTE will no doubt be a favourite when it comes to endurance events in the virtual realm including here at CFEG. A further great addition to a grwing line up of cars on Rfactor2.

Callaway Corvette C7
The Chevrolet Corvette C7.R is a grand tourer racing car built by Pratt & Miller and Chevrolet for competition in endurance racing. It is a replacement for the Corvette C6.R racing car, using the C7 generation Chevrolet Corvette as a base. The C7 road car was noted to incorporate development from the Corvette C6.R, thus those properties also carry over to the race car. The Corvette Racing C7.R races in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class.
Since its launch in 2014 the C7.R has seen success in all forms of motorsport. Several variants have been constructed to meet the regulations of GT3, ADAC, GTLM and IMSA. Most victories have come in the form of ADAC GT3 championships, with the C7 yet to claim the 24h Du Man's, losing out to Aston Martin Racing on the last lap of the race in 2017. Either way, this car is a icon of the GTE era and it will continue to succeed in the motorsport world.

BMW M8 GTE
The BMW M8 GTE is an endurance grand tourer (GT) car constructed by the German automobile manufacturer BMW. It was developed in late 2016 and will make its competitive début in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA WEC from 2018 season respectively and thus marking BMW Motorsport returning to 24 Hours of Le Mans after six-year absence that last time BMW competed in 2011. It was designed by BMW chief engineer Dominic Harlow. The M8 GTE, which replaced the ongoing BMW M6 GTLM at the end of the 2017 season, is based on the production BMW M8.
This is the very first sim/virtual copy of the BMW M8. This beautiful machine will surely attract plenty of attention for Studio 397 as BMW make their return to the GTE world. For the time being it is an Rfactor2 exclusive, but for how long?
