I mean, come on. Did this really come as a surprise? No?
Then thankfully it appears you trust us to bring you the very best when it comes to endurance racing events here at CFEG. we received great feedback from the last event, so here is hoping for a repeat as we move forward into the Summer months. After the 12 hours of Le Mans we just couldn't think of anything else to do other than visit the famous Road Atlanta for the Petit Le Mans. Created in 1998 by the circuit owner the Petit Le Mans was instantly integrated with the IMSA. Hosting a variety of cars and classes it quickly became a renouned and respected endurance event, with teams travelling from across the globe to compete and claim victory.
Now, those of you who are familiar with Road Atlanta, you will know that it is a different beast entirely. Sector1 is one of the fastest and most entertaining sections of tarmac in motorsport. If you add multiple classes and day>night transition on top, it becomes an experience like no other.
Though it is true that Road Atlanta is fairly small as a circuit, this will only make it far, far more challenging. Three classes will navigate their way around the American circuit on Saturday 14th July 2018. Tarmac that widens and narrows at high speed means you will have to choose your moves carefully.
This then truly is for those who are feeling brave and to come out on the other end in one piece is another thing entirely. We will again we using the Enduracers V2.0 modded content, giving you the chice of LMP2, LMP3 or GTE. Each class has its pro's and Con's, but i guarentee you that neither of them will be able to survive this race without a fight.
As per real life the race will start during the day, followed by a 10 hour decent in darkness and the chequered flag.
