WSCC - 6 Hrs of Sebring (Race 6/11)

February 6, 2018

The WSCC reaches the point of no return this saturday as we visit Sebring for round 6 of the championship. GT3 and LMP2 teams prepare themselves for the gruelling task ahead as Sebring boasts the huge task of completing this 6H event. Witness day to night transition as the drivers are faced with a variety of conditions, the blistering sun during the day, followed by a cold and dark world at night. With only their own headlights to show them to the chequered flag, this will be no easy task..

So far it has been the story of 1 team in LMP2, Max Grip endurance have won 5/5 races thus far in the championship, though this is not to say it has been easy for them. Breathing down their necks are #55 Exiled Motorsport, Rapid Racing and several others, With only 7 rounds remaining, now will be the time for them to put everything on the line to close the gap before the final round at Daytona.

In GT3 it is team RSI who lead into round 6, Morabia rebellion suffered a DNF as did the #07 Poland Simracing BMW, resulting in a loss of crucial points for the teams. Team RSI however fought through round 5, catching and claiming P2 in class, giving them a 12 points lead.

You really could not make this series up, so far the racing has been amazing to watch, despite the results, the DNF's and the challenge, drivers and teams appear to just want to try harder to catch the leaders. With this in mind, we could not be more excited for the 6H of Sebring!
